Much of Mr. Besen's hateful rhetoric is an attempt to raise funds. He tries to demonize his opposition so his supporters will give him money. I have wondered what Mr. Besen actually does with his life besides finding people to attack? He is actually a good writer though he uses his prose in a very negative way. But then again, that is his goal.....to irritate and anger his constituency so he can raise money to make a living. His "pray away the gay" comments are preposterous. You can't pray away someone's same sex attractions and suddenly they are heterosexual. Mr. Besen uses such statements to gather support for his rather one-sided and hateful monlogue. I wonder if Mr. Besen has the emotional health to actually sit down with someone who disagrees with him and have a unemotional conversation about same-sex attraction? In regard to FOX I have written to them and encouraged this network to find some other people who are gay-identified to interview on the phone. Apparently it is easier for them to hear the tired-out rhetoric of Mr. Besen than to find another person(s). Mr. Besen is articulate though incredibly one-sided and divisive. I have lost respect for FOX because they continue to use Mr. Besen. I don"t watch as much because they use him so muchREPORT COMMENTS
