This is a God given right as explained in the US Constitution. Besides, we the people can't trust the government to know where to stop. We need smaller less controlling government. The government needs to enforce the laws already on the books and hold the irresponsible accountable instead of penalizing everyone for the mistakes of the few.Feb 3rd, 2013Tony Y. from Kirkland, WA signed.

Banning weapons has proven to be useless in reducing weapons crimes or murders. It however would be very effective in preventing an unhappy citizenry from protecting itself from a tyranical government or criminals. Our constitution stressed the importance of a well armed citizen. Not for hunting deer but for an organized, effective defense from a government that no longer represented or was friendly to the common citizen. The founders new first hand about the harsh, tyranical government issues of those days. Assuming the government and local authorities are friendly, they are still not present nor available everywhere at every moment. A person needs the ability to protect themselves and their loved ones when help is not immediately available.REPORT COMMENTS

DEFEND the Second Amendment!! I resent President Obama and others in Congress that have the right to gun protection for themselves and their families, and "We the People" would not have the same right!!REPORT COMMENTS
