Tell Congress: No Internet Sales Tax!
"Online sales tax proposals are taxation without representation. [They tell] businesses that there is no escape from the clutches of tax-hungry politicians. That concept is antithetical to our federalist system, which promotes competition among our states for the best economic policies." – former U.S. Senator Jim DeMint
The internet as a largely tax-free environment may soon be a fact of history.
Now in the House and Senate, the Remote Transactions Parity Act and the Marketplace Fairness Act would mandate an internet sales tax.
We've got to call on our elected servants to oppose this scheme.
Expanding taxes is a bad idea that would adversely affect both consumers and internet retail businesses. Consumers would end up paying higher prices and surrendering more of their dollars to revenue-hungry state governments, while online retailers would be forced to abide by as many as 9,600 tax jurisdictions and navigate all the bureaucratic red tape that goes with them!
Lawmakers must reject this cash-grabbing effort and refuse to give states power to reach outside of their borders to tax consumers and businesses nationwide.
Take Action! Sign the petition and send a no-cost message to your U.S. Representative and Senators demanding that they oppose any and all efforts to create an internet sales tax!

The time has come when government has reached too far. To require a bureaucratic push of this magnitude on all states with the IRS doing the pushing is going too drive us to the breaking point. So many forced problems will stop our God given rights from investing in commerce without government on our necks. Stop it now before it becomes the monster we all know it will become.

T axed E nough A lready! Government has been bloated by the very people whom were suppose to protect! These means has no place in "free" societies and you know it! Control is not the solution which is why you took and oath to honor and protect the Constitution! This is to serve as "CHAINS" for every elected official including you! Read it and read it again so you can be regarded in history as earning the "respect" or as your king spells it rspect from the very people you "serve".

Cut out the free phone giveaway to the thousands who don't qualify. If NSA can spie on all things we do then certainly they can develop spy ware to cross reference a phone user against their status to determine eligilibility. Then you can cut spending and reduce the need for taxes without representation. People think they need the Internet to order stuff, not so. GOOGLE what you need (part #'s, etc) GOOGLE who has it and their phone #, then call and order your stuff.

What with the burden of shipping cost the playing field is already leveled-this will only raise costs for consumers like me who can never find what I need at brick and mortor retailers and this will crush budding entrepreneurs who can't afford a storefront with the attendant high property taxes. Since congress and state governments can't seem to keep thier greedy paws off any possible revenue source this will probably come about no matter how the public opposes it so I suggest we make it as fair as possible to make it nationwide at 1 percent with revenues to be remitted back to respectives states based on population- to do otherwise will kill sellers in states with higher sales taxes as buyers will go where taxes are lower.
