If the published estimated costs of an all electrical car to purchase and to also replace batteries are correct then it is not an affordable solution to our transportation costs and energy needs. We should not be subsidizing those that purchase them as the income required to purchase is above the national income average. Let the industries involved go back to the drawing board and work on making them affordable for the average person in the country and let free enterprise take its course and solutions will be found. In the years of plenty we need to spend less and save for the years of famine. We didn't. Now we are in the years of famine, and we are spending, but it seems misdirected.
