The Elbert Express: It's the Senate's Turn to Step Up This Summer!

Messages Sent So Far

The U.S. House voted to repeal the health and economic tragedy that is ObamaCare. That bad law did not have the best interests of everyday Americans, like you, in mind.

Join me in demanding an AmericaCare plan that drastically lowers monthly costs, promotes freedom, and doesn’t punish your family members that suffer from “pre-existing conditions.” Tell the U.S. Senate to PASS AMERICACARE THIS SUMMER!

Forget about replace! That just means create an alternative Obamacare, and that defeats the purpose of the repeal!

We need "common sense" Medical Care. It is reasonable for companies to make money, but we HAVE TO draw a line. It's great to make money, but not usery. There needs to be a system that works for all.

There is no way to resuscitate ObamaCare. The only honorable path is to pull the plug on this failed law. It is time to enact legislation that has a chance to rescue those abandoned by healthcare providers. The fault lies with Democrats, and if they are unwilling to work with Republicans on healthcare reform, the Democrats will forever own this catastrophic mess.

Honor the wishes of the people you represent - rethink your position if it differs from the majority's wishes. People are tired of the " I know what is best for you attitude" Listen and comply!

As a self employed citizen we decided 22 years ago to purchase high deductible major medical insurance for our family. Our premium was relatively low and we shopped doctors and hospitals for the best value. We paid mostly out of pocket for doctor visits, procedures and tests. Now other mid income people like us have similar high deductible plans yet are paying co-pay level premiums. The result is foregone doctor visits. Obamacare is achieving the opposite of the Democrat's stated goals for hard working people. Republicans - do what you promised - Repeal Obamacare and institute market based reforms!

National Security is the job of the Federal Government. Insurance is a "product" NOT a "right." There is absolutely NO JUSTIFICATION for the Federal Government to "interfere" with an individual's personal rights as American Citizens to pursue their own choice of what products they want to purchase. ALL government employees whether Congress, the Administration or Agency Staff should be required to take a course in our Constitution and Bill of Rights as a pre-requisite for employment.

Because those in DC are doing so well does not mean the rest of the country is. I believe in my heart that mandating insurance by all citizens is not in the spirit of the Constitution regardless of how many it helps; in fact it hurts just as many people as it helps.

Obumma care, is in reality a death notice to ALL baby boomers. It was admitted by the designers to be a failure, hoping that w e the people would demand a single payer system like Canada, GBritian.... we all know what massive failures those are, which is why many of those that have the mea 2nd come here for treatment or their problems. Enough said?

Obamacare was forced on Americans and filled with unkept promises such as you can keep your plan and your doctor. With rising costs it is time to replace it with good law vs bad !

I support an outright appeal of Obamacare. My insurance costs have gone up dramatically. The US constitution does not provide health care as a right. The Government is inefficient in managing taxpayers money. There is substantial fraud and waste in every Government entitlement program. Suggest cutting the Federal Government bureaucracy, including medicare and medicaid, and simply provide block grants to the states to manage their citizens health care.
