As soon as I got into work today, I heard that while we were busy "looking for the Boston Marathon bombers" the House of Representatives passed a bill making it a criminal violation NOT to hand over one's Facebook password to their employer! This is just PLAIN WRONG. That is my personal account. If my employer can sign onto my page, he can post things himself making it appear it came from me. This is an outrageous abuse of our right to privacy! If an enemy (personal) or acquaintance got angry at anotehr for some imagined slur or remark, however it was meant, and perhaps taken out of context, they could cause unbearable consequences to another, plus public humiliatoon, just over some little personal dispute!!! I am sure there will be some organization or department created sop that people can snitch on each other jsut to caue problems for someotne that they are angry and/or upset with!
