Furthermore, I am retired from a major airline and our regular carrier canceled our group retirement policy effective 1-1-2014. Another company has picked up this policy but I suspect, it too, to be canceled 1-1-2015 due to this terrible, useless, unworkable ACA... I have carried this insurance for over 20 years, have a serious medical issue, and have great concerns about my future coverage? In reviewing the cost / benefits of ACA policies being offered, even the platinum plan does not offer near the benefits due to the deductables, and the cost of coverage will double!!! We have been lied to by the administration, I really don't appreciate the funds they are wasting on advertising trying to sell this abomination, and strongly feel that the government has NO BUSINESS being involved in this field to any extent. It is time for Congress and Senate to come up with another answer, using the private sector to run program in a much more manageable and equitable manner. This Obamacare is totally out of control, and personally I'm totally fed up.... There is absolutely NO WAY I would even consider leaving any of my personal information on a website that still is not nearly working properly and has huge security issues on top of all the other issues... AND I'm getting tired of being LIED to by this administration regarding these issues. It seems to me that Nancy Pelosy hit the nail on the head when she said we needed to pass this law so we could see what was in it? Did anyone in Congress or Senate actually read and understand what was in this bill before it was passed? Sure does not seem that way!! There are just so many issues, affecting people at all income levels, and stations in life, that this is quite obviously NEVER going to work. Then on top of everything else, Obama sees fit to make exceptions wherever and whenever his heart desires, which he DOES NOT HAVE THE LEGAL and CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY to do. With the combination of other issues he has created as the CEO of the nation, he should be impeached or even better, if there were a way, FIRED!! I could go on forever regarding the many issues he has created, but let's just end it hear and now. This is the most absurd action that could be taken. I know how hard our small county in Georgia has worked to get Volunteer Fire Departments of the various small communities within our county. I could not believe the head line to this article. After reading the article I now know why this is something the gov. has answered about. Its $$$ All this Washington gov. has done is look at ways to make more money with taxes and the ACA needing funding has got made it worse. Im sick of it . Get rid of it and let the 71% of the countrys fire departments which are volunteer be off the hook.. This is insanity Mr Obama.
