The guns shouldn't be banned yes someone wwnt and shot someone else but its not the guns fault it doesn't have a brain i saw something really good on fb the other day a guy sets his rifle on the porch and tells it to go kill some body and guess what all it did was sit on the porch eather he has the laziest rifle ever or guns don't kill people people kill people and i don't think that just because some. idiot went out and shot somebody all of us hunters should pay the price that's how i put food on the table for my family thank u very much -

Do we not know of any? What we do know is that he founded Doctors for Obama (2008) which became Doctors for America (1yr later) that subsequently organized a campaign called Docs vs. Glocks (2011). And, after the shooting at Sandy Hook, Murthy authored an open letter to Obama arguing for the increase of federal controls on guns and their owners. Isn't this the music to President Obama's dance? Is this man being promoted to Surgeon General because in 8 years he has become the best doctor in the USA, surpassing all others regardless of years of experience? OR, is he being promoted for backing the right horse and spouting the right politics? Congressman\lady: Can you honestly say that, in all of the good ol' US of A, there is not a better qualified doctor to be Surgeon General? OR, is President Obama already SO powerful that you fear questioning his decisions? This is obviously a political appointment being done for political reasons that have nothing to do with what a truly qualified Surgeon General is supposed to do.
