How can I respectfully say : Live up to your oath of office or get a job? These tramplings on the Constitution are unacceptable. Did it all begin with denyiing that part of the First Amendment which states" nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof"? Perhaps it began with the anti Second Amendment gun laws. This ain't Gunsmoke. I should be able to enjoy the Second Amendment without a license which is infringement to me. It should be to you all in Congress too. Now it's John McCain & Feingolds trampling on freedom of speech in their finance reform bill, now law. I am no longer free from search without a warrant. I am no longer secure in my papers and effects. Gun control in the terms of outlawing this and that like magazines and certain firearms which some of us have is a violation of ex post facto named specifically in the Constitution, not even an amendment, but the basic document. On and On it seem to go. I'm compelled to remind the Congressmen that a law which "changes" the Constitution is illegal and not a law at all. It is a Bloomberg attempt to trample the greatest document ever written by mankind, the Constitution, our Supreme Law of the Land. The law you all swore to defend and protect. Please restore the rule of Constitutional Law of we are doomed to tyranny and a dictatorship. I will mention the illegal Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act, wherein it is stated a citizen can be indefinitely detained without due process. Sincerely, Ronald L.
