This is a must. Secure the borders first. My son has Mexican neighbors in their neighborhood. Down the street from him. Long story short, they are legal and have been here since their children were toddlers. They are now in high school. Anyway they told us how they saved and waited for their papers to get here. They are anger with the illegal ones because it makes them look bad. People look at them with distaste and think they are illegal and breaking the law. They work (him and his wife ) they are buying their home. They have pride and are proud to be here. Their son that is in high school works after school and keeps a "B" average and saved to buy his first truck. Used truck, nothing fancy. They call all this the American Dream. Something we Americans sometime take for granted. They want the illegal ones to have to go back and work their way here like they had to do. Because they say that the ones that don't come here legally are the ones that break all our other laws too. And try to live the same way they did in Mexico. Breaking laws and not working because they know they can live here for free on the government. Now that is sad that they know how to take advantage of us. And they brag about it. I told his neighbors that it was not because we were stupid, it's because (what my granddaddy told me when i was a young woman)" we will give the shirt off our backs if someone needs it." Well that's true and it costs us dearly because we don't just give our shirt to someone that NEEDS it- we give all our shirts to everyone. They con us out of them. We are too tender- hearted, to the point that we harm ourselves and have to do without. We can't afford the illegals. They have to go back and come back legally so they can get jobs without having to hide from the law. I do not think they should have drivers license or be allowed to vote if they don't have their legal papers to be here. Secure the borders (I know it can be done) then deport the ones here that are illegal. If they really want to live here, they will come back legally. I know what you're saying, "But there are millions of them." Yes there is. And it will take awhile to do this but it can be done. Each state needs to export them to the border their selves (by van-several at a time} because we can't afford to put them in our jails and feed and house them. So taking them by van would be less costly than housing and feeding them thru our jails or thru government programs,( food stamps, Medicaid, free housing, etc.) They know all of them. This will be like letting your house pile up and pile up, knowing you still have to clean it. You just made it harder on yourself by not doing it as it was happening. But it can be done. Secure the border first. Please don't give up the fight on this. Thank you.REPORT COMMENTS
