I have become so disillusioned with most members of the House and Senate. We have elected these people to represent the people of this nation and should be considered our employees and therefore.are our employees and should be on "our" side. Unfortunately, this is so far from reality that I don't think these people have any idea of what our nation's best interests are. And furthermore, due to their own self interests, they seem to have no intention of doing what is best for our nation. Who would make a comment such as one made by Nancy Pellosi re: O'Bama Care should be approved first --then discover later what is in it. Does anyone feel as insulted as I do with her attitude. I feel bad that I have little, if any, respect for her as well as many others in Congress. Almost none of our representatives really have our nation's best interests at heart. Voting along party lines seems to be more important than voting for what is right and what is just. Is this not blatant politics or what? Should the members of Congress vote for what is right and just? You betcha!!!! Yet, very few---both Democrats and Republicans-work for our interests. More than anything, I love my country; and I am truly saddened by what has has been and what continues to be happening. We, the people, truly have no one we can go to who really cares about our country and its citizens. Also, our president seems to not care about the American people. When is impeachment an acceptable action for a president who will do anything to promote "his" agenda. On inauguration day, our president vowed to uphold our Constitution. However, what I see in reality is that O'Bama has not upheld our Constitution; and I have seen no indication that he abides by the law of the land.REPORT COMMENTS
