The Internet is not a public utility! It is the greatest engine of freedom, information, and business that has ever existed in the history of mankind. The Internet was doing just fine without any government intervention. It does not need to be regulated, taxed, and manhandled to death by unelected, faceless, and unaccountable government bureaucrats. LEAVE THE INTERNET ALONE.REPORT COMMENTS

It's time for Congress to step up and stop Obama's tyranny. The FCC actions destroy internet freedom and allows government to control the free flow of information. This action must not be allowed to stand. Congress must stop this madness and allow for freedom on the internet without government intrusion.REPORT COMMENTS

Once again we're asked to roll over and watch bureaucrats legislate. This can't stand! Furthermore, the only reason the administration is pushing this is to continue to choose winners and losers in an arena where market forces thrive and do a far better job. Risk taking and innovation will clearly be trumped by money, political clout, and high level, out of public view crony dealmaking. I am ashamed of every one of the FCC commissioners aside from Ajit Pai and one other who courageously bucked White House pressure to get this horrible package of "rules" approved. There is going to be some form of revolt before the end of my lifetime, and this action is one of the many sparks that will ignite it - hopefully an electoral revolt, but time is running out for that.REPORT COMMENTS

Finally the FCC has ruled to keep the internet free. I can't thank President Obama enough for standing against broadband providers to keep the internet free. This is an astounding policy that will preserve freedom and ensure start-up internet companies have a chance. The entrepreneurial spirit of America will continue to be free from corporate tyranny. All opposed to this FCC ruling are enemies of freedom and America. And, for now, they have been defeated.REPORT COMMENTS
