Soldiers while deployed are always at risk in a combat area of operations. It is a sad day in our history when we look to take shortcuts to save a dollar, when our Soldiers are in harms way deserve all entitlements due to them. All Soldiers should contact their state lawmakers and voice their concerns. I will continue to prayer for all Soldiers deployed and their families. This is wrong, my husband has been in for 6years in the military and that combat pay has helped take care of us , his family. Lower the congress and presidents pay, these soldiers give up family, home comforts for our country. This is a real hardship that is a huge sacrifice.
