Our troops deserve to have their medical costs paid for. They put their lives on the line for us so we can be free and we should take care of them. Don't increase our troops cost of care. If you are going to increase someone payments - do it to the union workers!!!

How can you seriously even think of fee hikes & cuts in Veterans benefits? It is truly a very sad time in history.

Enough is enough. the veterans have given enough to this country. they should not be subjected to more humiliation by being forced to pay ahorrible price for sub standard medical care at great expense. As a veternan I am ashamed of this adminstration trying to burden the people who have given soo much to defend this country and it's way of lfe fromall enemies foriegn only to be punished by the domestic enemies in Washington D.C.

RE: STOP Attempts to Cut Retired Vets' Benefits! Dear [Sen./Rep.] [LAST NAME]: I'm writing to ask you to please REJECT any attempt to cut or increase the fees on the medical benefits of America's retired veterans. We've put our troops in harm's way, and we must honor our promises. Our brave men and women in uniform have paid a heavy price these past ten years. Over 5,000 have paid the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. Another 40,000 have seen crushing injuries, and hundreds of thousands more suffer from brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. Failing to meet the promises we made to our troops -- like President Obama is proposing -- would be unjust and immoral. Please, do the RIGHT thing: REJECT any attempt to cut or increase the fees on the medical benefits of America's retired veterans. Thank you. Sincerely, James J. Jordan
