The military "gun-free" zones represent political and idealogical warfare. As a Navy veteran, I am disgusted by and would not support this baseless policy.Aug 24th, 2015Robert W. from Farmingville, NY signed.

Most mass shootings happen in gun free zones. Why should a killer feel safe because they know law abiding citizens won't be able to stop them?REPORT COMMENTS

Common sense has failed! When any of our people are at risk (targeted by the enemy) and are not allowed to defend themselves and others - we are in very deep trouble!REPORT COMMENTS

I find it unthinkable for military people to not be able to carry arms like any other citizen. Who else would be more qualified to carry and defend.REPORT COMMENTS

As a Retired Navy Man, I think it is beyond ridiculous that the Men and Women who serve in our Military and provide the Nation with Defense, are not allowed to be armed at Home, on Base and left defenseless. This needs to change now. Stop the MADNESS!REPORT COMMENTS

Either arm our soldiers on military bases; or if not, then simply frisk (like the airports do) any other person (including civilians) who shows up who is not scheduled to be on the grounds. Same for ANY military facility. If this policy had been in place deaths could have been avoided. Learn from the State of Israel: they have armed guards/guard houses at the entrance to all military bases.REPORT COMMENTS

If we cannot allow our military to defend themselves, how can we ask them to defend our nation? It is the creation of gun free zones that creates the opportunity for terrorist and crazed lunatics to carry out these mass shootings. By eliminating the gun free zones we can allow for the defense of American citizens.REPORT COMMENTS
