Online businesses have to charge shipping to their customers, often this 25% of their purchase price. Adding sales tax will drive us out of business.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm with Jim DeMint on this--if I buy in Massachusetts, I pay tax in Massachusetts. That's the law there. If I drive over the state line into New Hampshire and buy there, I don't pay taxes there, because that's the law there. So if I buy in Nevada, why should I pay (other than "use" taxes) in Massachusetts? The so-called "Marketplace Fairness" Act is taxation without representation. Why is it it that whenever we see the term "Fairness", as in "Marketplace Fairness" or "Paycheck Fairness", we know in advance that it has nothing to do with "Fairness"?REPORT COMMENTS

It is taxation without representation and just goes to show how greedy the government. They are going to try to tax people for everything they have. The country needs a balanced budget and to stop the government waste. Funding stupid stuff like snails and such. The House and the Senate need to stop all this wasting for spending, put a cap on vactions the white house takes and IMPEACH OBAMA! Next get rid of Biden, Reid, Pelosi, Holder and a bunch more! I am sick of the government trying to control our lives and take all our money and guns!REPORT COMMENTS

Government seems to increasingly make the assumption that our money really belongs to government. We the people need to step up and assert the fact that government belongs to us and restrain its growth.REPORT COMMENTS

If government truly wishes to stimulate the economy, they should stop penalizing small businesses; the true pillars of our economy. The well is dry. Unemployment and cost of living is at a record high, while wages stay low. Our lawmakers need to stop riding on the backs of taxpayers as a method to solve the problems created by their poor decision-making practices.REPORT COMMENTS
