USAID continues despite "shutdown" – tell Congress to start making cuts!

It's time to tell lawmakers to start cutting USAID commitments and other "foreign welfare" programs – the government is not a charitable organization!

The current government shutdown has barred veterans from visiting memorials and has even thrown people out of their homes, yet the government evidently has enough money to keep doling out aid to foreign governments.

“The federal government may have ground to a halt because of the budget standoff in Washington,” says the New York Times. “But at least one part of the government continues to operate as usual: foreign aid agencies.”

The State Department has confirmed that foreign aid programs will continue, even as state and local aid programs are shutting down for want of funds.

Is it not tyranny to deprive american citizens by giving money and aid to other countrys. If you don't want to be in that catagory you will vote to stop obama from giving away money that belongs to the citizens f The United States of America. I don't care what party you belong to your first obligations are to the ones who voted for you. Stop playing games-regardless of how you think YOU will be tossed aside with the restof us.please reply and explain your vote with out sugar please!

until we can reindustrialize our country there should not be one penny go to any foreign country, and after that we should vote on if our money is sent, to who, and reason
