As if we need the UN to have the supreme power to make law on how we the American People deal with people with disabilities. As having a disability due to spinal injury I have first hand knowledge, we do not need the UN making law that would trump ADA.

My Dad a WWII vet and to the day he died he was livid about the UN and the fact that we (our government freely gave the peoples money to) but they would consider entering into any treaty when ultimately we the people of the US would finance the lions share. Our WWII vets knew the UN's goal was to ultimately control every aspect of mainly the US. If our elected officials truly represented their constituents we would withdraw all support and end all relations with the UN!

Ratification of this treaty appears to obligate all signatories to the same standard\s as set by the UN. Since we know that there are many nations that do not have the economic prowess of the US, one necessarily has to question the consequence of this. This suggests that, in order for nations of less economic ability to be able to comply, the standard\s has\have to be set rather low, lower than the standard\s the US has now. This makes the treaty useless to the US. If the UN sets the standard\s at a higher level than the standard\s the US has now, many nations of less economic ability will not be able to comply. This makes the treaty useless to them. They just won't be able to pay for whatever the treaty demands. Then, who WILL pay for them, we might ask. Will the UN, at that point, be able to require the nations with more resources to pay the bills for the nations with less resources? It does not seem that a standard or standards established for worldwide application by an organization not officially part of any country can be equally enforced throughout that world. Either the standard\s will have to be too lax to allow "poor" nations to comply or the standard\s will be at the super-power nation level thus making it impossible for "poor" nations to even think about complying. Because this idea is so unworkable, one has to think that there is a hidden agenda. Is the treaty's real purpose to establish precedent that the UN has the power to establish law within the US without having to put the Congress to any inconvenience? If so, once the UN gains the power to establish procedures that will FORCE the many levels of US government to abolish or change existing law, we could save ourselves many dollars by abolishing Congress.

Constituents of these Senators and Congress people need to start recalling when they can their representative in Washington DC when they do not follow what the people of the US want. It is time that the citizens of the US ACTED to remove anyone who does not follow what the people of the US want and the Constitution and not what the elite want. According toour Constitution Rice had no right to put her signature representing the US on this document. Every so-called treaty presented by the UN takes away from our sovereignty and freedom. Few if any even now about this treaty like few if any know about the Common Core an educational program that really dumbs down our children.

Nothing UN is good for our country. We were a sovereign country, a good country, we need to find our way back. If our Senators would do what they took an oath to do, our country would not be in the mess it is in now.

With the complicity of Congress our country is being destroyed from within. Too bad you didn't read the Constitution anymore than the Amnesty or Obamacare bill which you needed to pass before you could read. What oath did you take anyway - to kiss Obama.
