The federal apparatus has been trying to give us a national ID for decades. the citizens have said no time after time. The solution has been for the federal government to ignore its' constitutional duty to protect the international borders, allow the illegal invasion and try to sneak it through in a complex monstosity that punshes the citizens for the behaviour of the illegal invaders. The illegals and politicians and beaurcrats are above the law. Can we plead the fifth on our income tax forms? Can we ignore subpeanas like politicians and political appointees do? The justice department and the state department decide what part of the law they will comply to. If the ordinary citizen did this we would be thrown under the jail.
