We were told in 2010 that the main idea behind the so called "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" was to get everyone Health Insurance. Since those protected by the proposed "Keep Your Health Plan Act" already have Health Insurance, they don't need something else and should not be penalized by having to get insurance that they don't need and/or want, at considerable additional expense and possible penalties. The Democrats in control of both Houses of Congress, in a lame duck session after the 2010 Election, were told to pass the bill and then read the 2700 pages to find out what was in it.REPORT COMMENTS

It's really interesting to see that our Democratic participants in this process do not feel it necessary to apologize for the many millions of Americans affected. How many actually "read the bill" before affirmatively voting for it, and how many are actually admitting that a mistake was made? I wonder if they'll be any changes in the future (regarding the law and regarding the people voting for it)!
