Tell Senators: Support the "Keep Your Health Plan Act"

With the disastrous Obamacare law still on the books, this bill is essential in preserving consumer freedom in the healthcare market.

Barack Obama lied when he repeatedly said “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan” under Obamacare.

The fact is, on January 1, 2014 many Americans’ health insurance plans disappeared despite Obama’s promises over the past five years.

Congress needs to pass legislation that to protect Americans' health plans from Obamacare.

The “Keep Your Health Plan Act” would reduce the federal government’s heavy hand by allowing those with health insurance to keep their plan as-is if they wish to.

A simple two-page bill, the Act would modify sections of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and allow insurance companies to “grandfather” existing healthcare plans.

With the disastrous Obamacare law still on the books, this bill is essential in preserving consumer freedom in the healthcare market.

Take Action! Sign the petition and tell your U.S. Senators to support the “Keep Your Health Plan Act” and force Obama to keep his promise on Obamacare!

*The House of Representatives passed this bill on November 15 with a vote of 261 to 157. Thus, we have disabled the letters to the House as their actions have been taken.

Obamacare CAN NOT BE AFFORDED BY THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY. IT WILL CREATE MORE JOB LOSSES, UNIMAGINABLE HARDSHIPS FOR FAMILIES. SHALL I PAY THE INSURANCE PREMIUM OR SHOULD I PAY THE MORTAGE & BUY FOOD FOR KY CHILDREN. I KNOW WHICH I WOULD CHOSE & IT ISN'T THE INSURANCE. STOP KISSING THE IMPOSTER'S BACKSIDE & STAND UP FOR THE AMERICAN CITIZENS THAT ARE PAYING YOUR SALARY. REMEMBER, you ARE OUR EMPLOYEE.

Obama lied as he does every time he opens his mouth. Obamacare was not about healthcare it is all about control and taking our freedom. Our corrupt congress it just as guilty as Obama as they passed this junk bill without knowing what was in it . Khrushchev said it best " we will bury with out ever firing a shot and the press will be our biggest ally." Repeal this communist peace of legislation!

This is a bad law for those of us who want to keep the plan we have. We don't need any more lies! SO please support this law.

We were told in 2010 that the main idea behind the so called "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" was to get everyone Health Insurance. Since those protected by the proposed "Keep Your Health Plan Act" already have Health Insurance, they don't need something else and should not be penalized by having to get insurance that they don't need and/or want, at considerable additional expense and possible penalties. The Democrats in control of both Houses of Congress, in a lame duck session after the 2010 Election, were told to pass the bill and then read the 2700 pages to find out what was in it.

It's really interesting to see that our Democratic participants in this process do not feel it necessary to apologize for the many millions of Americans affected. How many actually "read the bill" before affirmatively voting for it, and how many are actually admitting that a mistake was made? I wonder if they'll be any changes in the future (regarding the law and regarding the people voting for it)! If they can't apologize and they can't fix it, why should they be where they are?
