Tell Senators: Support the "Keep Your Health Plan Act"

With the disastrous Obamacare law still on the books, this bill is essential in preserving consumer freedom in the healthcare market.

Barack Obama lied when he repeatedly said “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan” under Obamacare.

The fact is, on January 1, 2014 many Americans’ health insurance plans disappeared despite Obama’s promises over the past five years.

Congress needs to pass legislation that to protect Americans' health plans from Obamacare.

The “Keep Your Health Plan Act” would reduce the federal government’s heavy hand by allowing those with health insurance to keep their plan as-is if they wish to.

A simple two-page bill, the Act would modify sections of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and allow insurance companies to “grandfather” existing healthcare plans.

With the disastrous Obamacare law still on the books, this bill is essential in preserving consumer freedom in the healthcare market.

Take Action! Sign the petition and tell your U.S. Senators to support the “Keep Your Health Plan Act” and force Obama to keep his promise on Obamacare!

*The House of Representatives passed this bill on November 15 with a vote of 261 to 157. Thus, we have disabled the letters to the House as their actions have been taken.

The government should not decide the type of health insurance that it's citizens should have. That is an individual right and choice only the individual should make without interference from the government. Government should not dictate what type of medical care or medication people should take. I do not take prescription medication as I do not choose to take chemicals over natural remedies unless there is not a natural remedy available (and usually that is not the case). I should not need a doctor's note in order to use my flex plan for over the counter medicines. I am quite capable of knowing what remedies work for me or my family and I don't need the government making those decisions for me and my family. Why should I have to spend the money to see a doctor to get a note for medicine approved to be sold over the counter except to make money for others and take money out of my pocket. We need government out of our everyday decisions and that includes my healthcare. Why should I be forced to pay for other people's bad health and/or life choices?

Do anything which will self destruct this absurd idea;then, pull insurance scientist in to structure mortality tables reflective of knowledgable insurance experts who have made the industry viable before death panels sets in and lots of our fellow Americans dies of "Obamma inflicted genocide";and,or prosecute him under the rule of law,,,,

This healthcare is making citizens sick! Their costs go up and care goes down. Companies are cutting their people which they would rather not do. Take care of the American people. That's your jobs. Allow people to keep the health plan they currently have. There is nothing beneficial for them in Obamacare. It is not well created and provides nothing decent for those forced to have it. Promises need to be kept.
