The American people will only be lied to so many times and pushed into a corner like a wild animal before they either demand the truth or they strike back with all of the force of an animal fighting for its life. You have just about pushed the people to this point, you have ignored the will of the people by allowing obbumercare to be funded, you have let this imposter in the white house continue to commit impeachable offenses without even a token protest from either Republican or Democrat. You have wasted billions of taxpayer dollars, allowed the economy to tank and regulate business to the point where millions and millions of Americans are out of work or have just stopped looking. You have allowed millions of illegals to enter this country, straining an already fragile economic infrastructure with massive amounts of entitilements and putting a burden on states to pay for their schooling and healthcare not to mention taking jobs that American citizens could be doing. You have ignored our enemies abroad by allowing the liar in chief to gut our military while our enemies are busy bulding up theirs, therefore leaving us vulnerable in an increasingly dangerous world, a world for the most part which hates our guts. You also have allowed this forged imposter to use the military as an excuse to blackmail congress into giving him basically a blank check to increase our debt and foolishly waste taxpayer dollars. Thus weakening our military by cutting defense instead of cutting other useless spending on such important research like how the sexlife of lesbian frogs affect the diet of alligators at the North Pole. It is sad indeed when our constitutional rights are threatened by emotion and tragic circumstances, none of this could have been avoided by what's currently being proposed. Living in a stae such as CA where gun control is taken to the extreme and serves only to harass people who enjoy recreational and competitive shooting, I would hope the Congress see's through this attempt to use an emotional tragic event to strip citizens of their constitutional rights.REPORT COMMENTS

This is getting ridiculous, most recent state just passed restrictive legislation that would have done NOTHING to prevent Sandy Hook. We already have laws on books regarding felons, mentally disturbed, etc purchasing weapons... How about getting serious about enforcing what's on the books? NICS checks on private sales will do nothing without also having gun registration as national law. Actually more killed with Hammers this past year then with the so-called assault weapons? Let's also ban hammers? Or get OK from feds to purchase? Heaven forbid you go to Doctor, where you have such a poor survival rate that it's scary? It is strange that background checks are already done on gun purchases from gun shops - you don't get the gun if you don't pass the FBI check so how is a case like Sandy Hook going to benefit by additional checks. The mother buys the gun for herself, the son kills the mother and takes the guns - how would a background check that the mother already had prevent what happened. What is needed is a reform of mental laws. If you have a loved one or someone that you feel is dangerous there is nothing that you can do - imminent danger and self admission is the standard. Imminent danger is to late and someone who is mentally unstable doesn't think there is a problem. Help stop the assault on the Constitution and the assault on our freedoms and support members that are against gun control and possible confiscation which Biden confirmed yesterday.REPORT COMMENTS
