Our grandparents came to this country from Europe -- they needed to have sponsors here who guaranteed them a place to live and to help them find work... they didn't have to sneak across any borders. They came to become citizens - not to cause problems for the country. When anyone landed at Ellis Island or any other place, if they were sick or had a disease, they were detained or turned back. No criminals were permitted to enter.. Everyone had to have proper documentation to enter. Children had to be with their parents. This is completely different from what is happening today at our southern border ! What a crime to let this occur with no opposition by our government! We are no longer a free country but a land owned by a dictator and his cronies... !!REPORT COMMENTS
