I have always stood by President Obama's side by sticking up for him when no one else would. I think his decisions are made with the desire to help American citizens, but I just couldn't figure this one out. I understand we need cutbacks to help bring us out of the debt we're in, but taking it from the men and women who deserve it and need it most does not seem like the best plan. If we worked with the affluent population and asked them to help our nation, I think America would be more understanding when the less well-off had to give up their pay too. I wish that the "big guns" of corporations would give more tha take. I wish they understood that millions are plenty and minimum wage isn't enough. I wish they cared more about other's living situations. I know someday we'll reduce inequality, I know that as a future social worker (I graduate this spring) I will fight for it every morning I wake up and I'll dream about it every night after I fall asleep.
