None of this will work without secure borders so we need to build the double fence first and immediately.

Does it not go without saying that the borders need to be closed first? Are the people in DC that stupid, I mean, really, I am at the end of my rope with this stupidity. All this pandering and etiquette, get on with it already.

IN FACT WE DO NOT NEED ANY FURTHER IMMIGRATION REFORM. WHAT WE NEED IS CURRENT ENFORCEMENT OF OUR IMMIGRATION LAW WITHOUT EXCEPTION OR EXCUSE!

I don't believe in any amnesty for people who have already broken our laws. The border should be secured anyway.

The borders must be secured before any other immigration reforms are initiated. Without border security, there will be no accountability for those who are already here, and no way to prevent more from flooding this country, once they see that the stupid gringos, are willing to give away the farm to all the "new citizens". We are already 17 trillion dollars in debt. We cannot, nor should we be asked, to go another 3 to 7 trillion dollars in debt, just to make sure that everybody who gets here, gets every amenity they could ever hope for immediately, and for free! Too many Americans, who have lived and WORKED here all of their lives, are not making it. They cannot be expected to lay down and be the welcome mat, for 11 million new amigos.

If borders aren't secured first then passing the immigration reform bill is fruitless.

Please review your priorities. Secure Borders first, then step-by-step immigration reforms that secure these borders and are compatible under the Constitution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No amnesty and secure the boarder by laws already on the books that are constitutional. Also, some of these eleven million have to go back no matter where they are from. It is rediculous to think that the way the economy is that our country can support this large influx of persons. Meanwhile why isnt the Mexican govt held responsible for so many of their people leaving their country? There must be something very wrong in Mexico.

Since Senator Grassley's (supported by Cruz and others) proposal to FIRST enforce the laws on the books was voted down by all the Dems AND Rep Senators Flake (AZ) and Graham (SC) we all should know that this whole thing is a scam. Its bound to pass the senate but the house can save us. Be sure to let your Senators and Representatives know that you do NOT want this to become law.

What is going to be good for the country should be the priority in any bill. This smells like a democratic trap. No voting rights EVER for illegals.

Until you secure the borders it doesn't make sense to go ahead to try immigration reform. The amount of money it is costing all of us as taxpayers to support, educate, and pay out health benefits for the immigrants has to come to a halt. We farmed all our lives and no one has ever given us the opporunities they have been given.
