Tell Congress: Reject ALL Federal Gun-Control Legislation!

Our Constitution -- the Supreme Law of the Land -- included the Second Amendment provision to

Included in our Constitution, the Second Amendment provision to "keep and bear arms" was to ensure that the new American government could not disarm the people.

Our forefathers knew the importance of an armed citizenry as a check against big government and tyranny. They knew that in a free society individuals should always be at liberty to protect themselves, their families, and their property.

Those who were armed were not considered offensive, violent, or malevolent in any way -- in fact, early Americans considered defense to be a God-given right to secure households and keep evil at bay in society. Weapons were not held for aggression, but to resist aggression!

Right now there are a multitude of aggressors wanting to destroy the Second Amendment by banning certain weapons, limiting access to ammunition, and increasing the bureaucratic "paperwork" required to purchase guns.

Take Action! Send a message to your U.S. Representative and both of your U.S. Senators demanding that they oppose any and all forms of gun-control via legislation and amendments to legislation!

Laws are already in place, just enforce them. Do not destroy the Second Amendment in 'knee jerk' responses to these crimes. Where are the anti knife critics? Look what happens when guns are banned, crime is not decreased. The government has you over a barrel if you can't defend yourself. Just look at history.

I am asking that you oppose any and all FORMS OF GUN CONTROL LEGISLATION. If obama is so against guns, why is he GUN RUNNING INTO MEXICO AND SYRIA? All of those ACTIONS ARE ALSO ILLEGAL. He MUST BE STOPPED FROM PERFORMING ALL OF HIS ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION. First of all, a good way to START IS BY HIS REMOVAL AND ARREST. He is a BLATANT FRAUD. People kill people, NOT GUNS. Practically any SHARP, BLUNT OBJECT CAN BE USED AS A WEAPON OF DESTRUCTION, DEPENDING ON HOW THE INSTRUMENT IS USED. So GUNS ARE NOT THE ONLY WEAPON THAT KILLS. Please USE COMMON SENSE AND DO NOT DESTROY THE CONSTITUTION AGAIN BY TAKING GUNS AWAY FROM CITIZENS TO BE ABLE TO USE FOR SELF DEFENSE, MOSTLY DEFENDING THEMSELVES AGAINST A TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT GONE RAMPANT. That is WHY WE HAVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT. DO NOT DESTROY!

In trying to keep the crazies from guns, please don't pass bills that make it harder for responsible americans to be able to defend themselves. It's our constitutional right.

I do not know how the "dumbocrats" can keep pushing for more gun control. It has been proven time and time again that when the public is armed there is less crime. This latest tragedy happened in a state with some of the toughest gun control in the nation and still that person was able to get guns. And as the media conveniently left out, three of the killings were with a knife. If more of the public had been armed that person might have been stopped before he finally killed himself. Wanting more control now only show that you are only trying to disarm the law abiding citizens because the criminal won't obey the laws anyway, Stop what you are doing, read the Constitution, let the public arm themselves and many of these tragedies will not happen. Trying to further restrict people will only lead to more. I know that since you are a Democrat you will disagree and blame everyone and every thing else but could you for at least once use your head instead of your posterior and do the right thing. If not, put your head back where it has been on this entire issue (where I just mentioned) and keep your mouth shut. I am tires of hearing platitudes and party lines.
