Anytime you rush to "do something," you end up doing the wrong thing. England has gun control and is the most violent of the European countries. Chicago and New York City are gun free and are the most violent cities in this country. Gun control does NOT take guns away from criminals. Don't make law abiding citizens sitting ducks for the criminals. Many areas are reducing police forces for lack of funds and this looks to only increase as our government keeps overspending and runs out of cash. When the government starts limiting right, no one knows where they will stop. Give people the right to concealed carry. Ban gun free zones. Then people can protect themselves from crazies and criminals. Protect the 2nd Amendment rights. Don't get in this knee jerk quick fix for so called gun problems.
