Tell Congress: Reject ALL Federal Gun-Control Legislation!

Our Constitution -- the Supreme Law of the Land -- included the Second Amendment provision to

Included in our Constitution, the Second Amendment provision to "keep and bear arms" was to ensure that the new American government could not disarm the people.

Our forefathers knew the importance of an armed citizenry as a check against big government and tyranny. They knew that in a free society individuals should always be at liberty to protect themselves, their families, and their property.

Those who were armed were not considered offensive, violent, or malevolent in any way -- in fact, early Americans considered defense to be a God-given right to secure households and keep evil at bay in society. Weapons were not held for aggression, but to resist aggression!

Right now there are a multitude of aggressors wanting to destroy the Second Amendment by banning certain weapons, limiting access to ammunition, and increasing the bureaucratic "paperwork" required to purchase guns.  

Take Action! Send a message to your U.S. Representative and both of your U.S. Senators demanding that they oppose any and all forms of gun-control via legislation and amendments to legislation!

Why don't we start worrying about getting to the root of the problem? Guns are just one means people have used to carry out the atrocious thoughts that run through their sick minds. Take away guns, and they will find another way (ie. Timothy McVeigh). The worst mass killings that have taken place on US soil did not involve guns, so please STOP with the anti-gun hysteria and START using your logic.

Once again the action of a single mentally ill patient, his irresponsible mother, and an absent father is going to errode at my 2nd amendment right. The answer to this problem is not the knee jerk reaction of some glory seeking politicians. Gun restrictions in the past have had no effect on homicides or crime rates. They only make our politicians and criminals feel safer.

I urge my representatives to got against any type of "feel good" legislation that will have no meaningful effect on deterring gun violence. These types of laws will only further hinder law abiding citizens, and do nothing to stop criminal behavior. Enforce our hundreds of existing laws to the highest degree!

Laws or bans on rifles or guns will only increase crime. Laws do not influence the criminal element or the mentally ill. They will always target areas where people can't defend themselves. We have people doing drugs and there are numerous laws against drugs. We have DWI laws and people driving drunk still cause accidents and kill innocent people. Accountability, is needed for the overabundance of laws currently on the books.

Guns don't kill people! People with mental issues who were taught to shoot guns kill people! People are going to have weapons no matter what, even if you banned them. The criminals are still going to get there guns, so why would you want to disarm all the innocent civilians who use theses weapons to protect there families from these criminals? Drugs were banned, but yet they are still on the streets and people keep buying them! How do you think the same thing won't happen with firearms?

congress swore to uphold the constitution which includes the 2ND AMMENDMENT. The ban is unconstitutional and in my opinion anyone who votes for it should have treason charges upon them.

" This short paragraph from Declaration of Independence sums it up quite nicely. We the living have the right to defend ourselves at any time in any place and by any means necessary. Those that wish to disarm us and deny us the means of self-defense are the same kind of people that paved the way for genocide in various parts of the world. Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, Cambodia, China, Laos, Rwanda - the list is virtually endless and the number of lives lost is in the hundreds of millions. Those without the means of self-defense always become slaves of tyrannical governments or slaves of well armed criminals which is often one and the same.
