Tell Congress: Re-Evaluate U.S. Foreign Aid

In mid-September, violent al Qaeda-related uprisings occurred in Egypt and Libya, the latter taking the lives of four Americans.

In light of this tragedy, it is time for our government to reconsider our foreign aid expenditures: it is time for the American people to demand the U.S. Government to end all foreign aid to non-allied nations altogether, and review the funds pledged to allies.

Egypt is currently a Middle East ally of the United States; however, considering recent events, we must call our government to discontinue all aid to Egypt until they hand-over the aggressors responsible for the attack on our embassy.

Libya has historically not  been an ally of the United States and should therefore receive zero aid on that basis alone. If Libya has since become an "undeclared" ally, due to recent U.S. intervention into that country, they must also be prohibited from receiving foreign aid dollars for the same reason as Egypt.

Again, all U.S. foreign aid to Egypt and Libya must cease. America should never reward nations who are allied -- formally or informally -- with our enemies.

If we do not act and demand our elected servants to cut foreign aid spending, these two countries alone will  have received $3,117,850,000.00 U.S. Dollars by this year's end!

The United States has no business spending such an exorbitant amount of money on these nations -- we are deeply in debt and simply cannot afford it. (Keep in mind that the government will be forced to pay its debts; it will inflate, borrow, or tax its way "through" them.)

Senator Rand Paul has been a champion in calling the U.S. Government to reevaluate its reckless spending overseas. Though his bill S. 3576 failed, he has committed to continue to his push to curb U.S. Aid:

“When nearly 80 percent of Americans believe foreign aid should be reduced – especially to countries that are not our allies – it is inconceivable why their views are ignored by so many in Congress. I am far from defeated on this; I will continue to fight for this issue when Congress returns, and I will continue to call attention to the billions of American dollars – borrowed from China, among other places – being sent to governments that are not willing to respect and protect our interests overseas."

Now is not the time to give up on our efforts to cut foreign aid expenditures -- it is time to push harder than ever.

Take Action with Conservative Action Alerts and sign and send your petition to Congress demanding we END all foreign aid to non-allies, RE-EVALUATE foreign aid to allies, and PROHIBIT Egypt-Libya foreign aid, until they cooperate with the United States.

Let's spend your money at home rather than giving it to countries who don't even like us. Be sensible!

The Land of Liberty should not unrepentant support human rights violators and murderers. To fund these enemies of liberty is inexcusable and unforgivable.

Absolutely NO foreign aid to any country or the U.N. period. Let other countries pay for their own wars weapons and let their sons be the ones to die on the front lines! We are so deep in debt, we will never get out and we have enough hunger and poor in our country to keep us busy for a long time! ENOUGH!

Can't buy love or loyalty. We should not give one cent to any country who allows attacks on our embassies or burns our flag.

Just because we give a million dollars to Israel we should have to give the same amount to Pakistan. Help only nations that are truly our allies. Look at the taxpayer dollars we have wasted building infrastructure in Afghanistan and that government is not using their to keep it up. Therefore squatters are moving into these building and living. What a waste of our hard earned money. Not Congress' money but the taxpayer. Stop this so we can fix our own nation! We should also have OUR house in order and be able to AFFORD to give!! We should NEVER give to a country that doesn't respect ours!

Besides the $60 million to Syria and $240 million to Egypt, Secretary of State John Kerry also offered Egypt free importing of goods to the U.S. and says we will provide their youth with undergrad and graduate degrees in the sciences, and technology. Its apparent to me that the well-being of the American people means nothing to our government representatives. Jeff Sessions office stated that Reed said we don't need a budget. So they shouldn't need our tax dollars either.

Stop giving money to jihadist, terrorists. This is an easy spending cut. It won't even cut handouts to Obama's hordes of entitlement voters. Maybe you should cut the foodstamps to Mexicans on both sides of the border.
