This just makes sense. Unless you really want illegal aliens to keep taking our tax dollars. Disband the IRS. Rid us of loopholes and huge tax bills. This is not a burden on the poor, but a blessing. -

We fought the Revolutionary War to win financial freedom with a government of the people, by the people and for the people. We fought the Civil War to free the slaves with civil rights for all. But we all became financial slaves to our government with the passage of the 16th Amendment that gave government huge taxing power and we lost civil rights, freedom and liberty. The 16th Amendment enabled “direct taxation” what had previously been prevented by our Constitution. With the 16th came the first legal income tax, the IRS, payroll taxes and tax withholding. Thus making us financial slaves and beholding to government. There is a solution to this financial slavery. It is the FAIRtax bill HR 25 / S 18 now in Congress but being ignored. Learn more, join the cause and contribute at bigsolution.org. Most important is to co-sponsor the FAIRtax billREPORT COMMENTS

The only reason this isn't already law is that Fair Tax would not allow Congressmen to benefit from current tax loopholes. Enough is enough.REPORT COMMENTS

The Department of Justice employs Brushaber v Union Pac RR, lawlessly, as its authority to tax us on our incomes., Brushaber: If the tax is "so arbitrary as to compel the conclusion that it as not the exertion of taxation, but the confiscation of property, or is so wanting in basis for classification as to produce such a gross and patent inequity as inevitably to lead to the same conclusion,' it is not tax. It is lawless confiscation of property. Under Subtitle C of the Code; that section of 7421 bars all actions to restrain collection except where the tax assessment is an illegal exaction in the guise of tax--or there are present special and extraordinary circumstances sufficient to bring the case within some acknowledged head of equity jurisprudence, try to get a lawyer. No Federal judge is going to grant a lawyer $500,000 to take a case involving a thousand dollars. But that is what it would cost in legal fees. The DOJ has an unlimited source of funding to fight you. The Communist Party USA beat the IRS. They have the money and the power. You don't. This isn't lawful. It is "legal fraud." Look it up in Black's Law Dictionary under lawful. When Federal income tax became law only the very rich paid it. You can thank the Democrats and Franklin D. Roosevelt for their foot in your door. A Roosevelt appointee, Justice Brandeis, asserted to his brothers on the bench, that "property is only a means. It has been a frequent error of our Court that they have made the means the end." Do you accept that? The Supreme Court of the United States does not give you the right to one cent of the fruits of your own labor. You do not have a right to due process of law. You are a tax slave. Your government is a lawless renegade. Thomas Jefferson:: "It is a very dangerous doctrine to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions. It is one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy...The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with the corruptions of time and party," there you have it, "its members would become despots. It has more wisely made all the departments coequal and cosovereign within themselves." One percent of the American people own half of the wealth of the nation. Your government is bought and paid for. The Constitution begins with "We the people." Where are your representatives? They are robbing Peter to pay Paul. Forget the lawyers. You have a right to be heard in a meaningful way in a meaningful place. It is we the people who will get that right. Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead. I'm here to help you.REPORT COMMENTS

As an American citizen who has paid taxes my whole life, it is time to get rid of the overly complex, broken and unfair tax system currently in place. It is not fair for the working class people to work their butts off, pay taxes every paycheck, and then come end of year, have to pay even MORE taxes!!! I have paid in to the IRS for the last 4 or 5 years at tax time. And I want to know why!! Why is it fair for people to get their full taxes refunded, or even receive more than they paid in? Why do I get penalized for trying to work hard and make a good life for my family?? Especially when I see my hard earned paycheck getting taxed and then my taxes are used for all of the lazy people who do not want to work and get a free ride!! THAT is totally unfair!! I am tired of paying taxes. The government should not be penalizing the hard working American. You are unfairly taxing a whole class of working American people! Pass the Fair Tax Act and abolish the IRS and the current broken system. Pass this act so EVERYONE will be taxed equally!! Especially in this day and age when there is so much "Equality" nonsense going around, lets do something that actually makes sense!! Pass the Fair Tax Act and help EVERY American and the country. Because with the passing of this act, there would be NO more tax refunds. The government would keep ALL of the taxes generated in this way. Why have we not passed this yet?? It makes sense and it would help our country in such a huge way.REPORT COMMENTS

Seriously we need tax revenue just to opperate as a country, however the current system is unfair and not equal accross all demographics. IRS and the tax code at one time was the answer but it's time to have another, better plan. Fair tax is the best idea I have heard of and will do much more than just fix the broken tax code in this country.REPORT COMMENTS
