Tell Congress: Open Offshore Drilling, Support the XL Pipeline

Every oil-producing country in the world is drilling in the Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico, and along the California coast -- except the United States!

We have more oil in America than in the entire Middle East.

North Dakota and Montana have an estimated 3 to 4.3 billion barrels of recoverable oil available, and it could be extracted at an approximate cost to Americans of only $16 a barrel.

Studies indicate there may be more than one trillion barrels of oil in oil shale, a type of sedimentary rock found in Wyoming, Utah and Colorado's Western Slope.
THAT'S NEARLY THREE TIMES THE RESERVES IN SAUDI ARABIA. The USGS also predicts that there are up-to 16 billion barrels of oil in Alaska's ANWR region.

We could, and SHOULD, be back to drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

We
SHOULD be drilling off of our other coasts (since China and Russia already are).

We
SHOULD be drilling in Alaska.

We
SHOULD be converting shale oil from the mountains in Colorado.

We
SHOULD be supporting the Keystone XL pipeline.

But environmentalists claim that
ALL these actions would damage the environment, and simply won't allow this to happen. Instead of trying to find a minimal impact solution, they simply say no. And because of this, Americans are paying the price at the pump. And Obama does NOTHING...except talk about how we should be drilling, and we should be creating jobs, and we should be less dependent on foreign oil.

With unrest in the Middle East and a President who refuses to drill here, our future is clearly $5 per gallon and higher. HOW HIGH WILL IT GO? $8 per gallon? $10 per gallon?Or...higher?

The U.S. domestic oil industry has pretty much been shut out of its own country by the President who claims he wants to create jobs and ease our dependence on foreign oil.

Every oil-producing country in the world is drilling in the Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico, and along the California coast---EXCEPT THE UNITED STATES!!

Obama won't issue permits for American drilling, but he has promised Brazil a $3 BILLION grant to drill for their OWN oil... off of our coasts!

Opening up drilling off the coasts, in the mountains of North Dakota and Montana as well as Alaska could
immediately reduce the price of oil.

America could have a sufficient oil supply for the next 400 years.

Your lawmakers need to hear from you on this issue: please take action with Conservative Action Alerts and your fellow Americans and DEMAND that Congress vote for legislation that would open domestic offshore oil drilling and allow for the Keystone XL Pipeline to end our dependence of foreign oil!
