Tell Congress: No Federal Minimum Wage Hikes!

Congress swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, not the Communist Manifesto. Tell Lawmakers to OPPOSE the federal "Raise the Wage" effort!

On February 14, Barack Obama signed an unconstitutional executive order hiking the minimum wage for federal workers and contractors to $10.10 per hour.

Sadly, the socialists in Congress are in the process of “finishing the job” and forcing private businesses to pay-out the same.

While many liberals laud the idea of a heightened minimum wage, the reality is: there is nothing praiseworthy about forcing employers to pay higher prices for labor. In fact, forcing a business owner to part with his capital for “fairness’ sake” is nothing more than wealth redistribution and theft.

Higher wages should be raised only by voluntary actions made by individual businesses within a free market -- not by government fiat!

As lawmakers like Rep. Nancy Pelosi are already calling on conservatives to support this misguided plan, grassroots Americans must speak out and tell U.S. lawmakers to oppose this latest redistributionist scheme!

It’s expected that Majority Leader Harry Reid will push this “fair wage” plan in the Senate in March, so it’s crucial conservatives move on this issue right now and start making noise.

Take Action! Add your name below and tell your U.S. Representative and Senators to OPPOSE any and all bills that would hike the minimum wage!

There is nothing fair about this wage hike. Working at min wage jobs is not designed to be a lifetime career; It is an entry-level wage. If you raise the min wage, nobody will be working because those jobs will go away. Anybody who wants to raise the min wage is completely ignorant about how the economy works. If you want to be fair, just, and compassionate, DO NOT RAISE THIS MIN WAGE.

Do not raise the minium wage. The only thing this will do is hurt our economy. Businesses will close and people will lose jobs. Stupidity!

I signed the petition "against" the minimum wage increase and received a letter from Dianne Feinstein thanking me for "supporting" the increase. What a crock! This is another bad idea from our administration. I am positive we will see a decline in employment with this idiotic idea.
