Tell Congress: No Debt Ceiling Hikes!

It's likely lawmakers will again play Chicken Little come February and ask for yet another increase in the borrowing limit. That's why we need to contact congress now and demand them to do the opposite.

“A failure to raise the debt ceiling would not cause default, but it would force us to balance the budget. It would perhaps make Washington politicians begin to take the disastrous spending problem seriously.” – Sen. Rand Paul

The alarmists always claim it is necessary for Congress to raise the debt limit to avoid some kind of national default or fiscal catastrophe. The thing is, they're dead wrong -- debt limit hikes are not needed to preserve the “full faith and credit” of the United States. The fact is, the U.S. Government has never once defaulted and isn't about to.

Sadly, on October 16, a coalition of Big Government lawmakers in the House and Senate succeeded in raising the debt ceiling until February 7, 2014.

It's likely lawmakers will again play Chicken Little come February and ask for yet another increase in the borrowing limit. That's why we need to contact congress now and demand them to do the opposite.

We don’t need another debt ceiling hike – we’ve already had nearly seventy-nine of them since 1960 – what we need is less government!

Take action! Sign the petition and send a message to your U.S. Representative and Senators telling them to OPPOSE debt ceiling hikes and SUPPORT a balanced budget!
