I oppose the Buffett rule. This is the same argument used to impose teh Alternative Minimum Tax and the Income Tax. Both of these were only supposed to be levied on the "rich." They both missed the mark and the middle class are paying the price. The income tax needs to be eliminated and replaced with a very small consumption tax. When I say very small I mean 1 or 2 percent. Necessities such as food and medicine would be exempt. Also, no services should be taxed.REPORT COMMENTS
