My husband who was in Korea, WWII, and Viet Nam, retired from USAF after 23 years, worked 43 years as a VA County Service Officer. After never having been sick in his life he was diagnosed with prostate cancer AND colorectal cancer at age 83. Approved for benefits never paid, died 09/15/2011. I cared for him at home alone at our expense. Still no word from VA. Horror stories ARE TRUE. Save other VETS.REPORT COMMENTS
