Tell Congress: ELIMINATE "Gun-Free Zones" at Military Bases

On April 2, 2014 a gunman opened fire at the Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, Texas. This marks the second shooting at this military installment since November 2009 ...

It happened again… another shooting rampage in a gun-free zone.

On April 2, 2014 a gunman opened fire -- killing 3, injuring 16, and ultimately taking his own life -- at the Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, Texas.

This marks the second shooting at this military installment since November 2009 when Nidal Malik Hasan killed 13 and injured 30 others.

While hideous acts of terror like these cannot always be prevented, one thing is certain: policies establishing military bases as “gun-free zones” must be reversed.

It’s time to legalize defense for our armed forces members – it’s time our servicemen and women are permitted to responsibly carry on base!

Take action! Add your name below and send a no-cost message to your U.S. Representative and Senators urging them to eliminate gun-free zones at military bases!

This could apply to ANY public place! Someone intent on shooting won't obey a "No Guns" sign!

It seems obvious that the best place someone intent on mayhem is to go where no one can stop you and when it is a gun the only thing that can prevent assault is another gun. Our gun rights are under assault by this administration, every agency is becoming a swat team armed to the teeth, is this what Obama meant when he said he needed a private army, armed as well as the Army, Navy, Marines and air force? The federal assault on the Bundy Ranch shows that the only way to stop over reach is to have an equalizer force on the other side and Obama's government is very much in the overreach thug department. I hope that Congress will not follow the repeat of history and turn our country into a dictatorship.
