Having served in the US Army for over 40 years and having to remain proficient with several types of firearm, not to mention the constant safety training that we received. It seems completely ludicrous that our military only depend on the military police for protection. The military police are very well trained but are like most law enforcement officers are never enough to cover all aspects of security. Not to mention all of the extra duties that these military professionals must contend with. Neither of these events would have happened if the people that are trained in defense had been armed. The cowards that did these acts know that their prey are unarmed. Time to make it right let the pros defend themselves!REPORT COMMENTS
