Work is good and the best incentive to work harder is to use work as the necessary qualification for minimum assistance. Most people will soon realize if they work a little more, a little harder, they will achieve a better result than the minimum requirements provides them with.

deny Obama the chance to gut welfare any further and pass a "pay your own way" piece of legislation that would block all federal welfare funds from entering states that participate in Obama's work-waivers.

Give a man a fish or teach him how to fish. Personal responsibility is part of being an adult. Unless a person is proven to be mentally or physically incapable, they should contribute to society in some way.

The ability of POTUS OBAMA to make "legislation" through proclamation MUST be Stopped! We have too much to lose as a country to allow him to Continue this practice.

Chronic dependence on welfare is always self perpetuating and ALWAYS results in failure to progress toward freedom and independance. Unless that result is your goal, the hard won reforms to our welfare system must be upheld to truly help the needy. The best outlets for charity should be charitable organizations and not the government. Government should govern and at a minimum necessary to do that.

America started to decline once our Government decided to run it as a massive charity. It's been downhill ever since and will probably never recover!
