The US House of Representatives is the beginning of all revenue bills. If the House says that the IRS does not have to be paid the bonuses, then the agency has no authority to give them. Keep in mind, though, that the IRS is a part of the US Treasury. It's too bad that recreation facilities at a lot of military bases are being closed for "lack of funding," yet the IRS has 76 million dollars to dole out to its employees. I know of federal employees who are getting paid less because of the sequester. So, why should the IRS not only be exempt but penalties place upon others, but reap a huge reward? STOP EVERY PENNY OF BONUSES TO IRS!REPORT COMMENTS
