President Obama wants war …

In a recent letter to members of Congress, the President asked for legislation providing him the authority to use of military force against ISIS. He even gave legislators a draft of the legislation he wants…

But if the United States is to go to War, Congress – not the President – is to set the terms.

This is why Special Operations Speaks needs you to take action now and start contacting members of the U.S. House and Senate. If Congress is to authorize Obama to act -- if they are to Declare War as the Constitution requires -- certain definitions must be put in place:

1. Define the Enemy -- Radical Islamic Extremism

2. Define the Rules of Engagement -- Untie the troops' hands

3. Define the Goal -- Victory. We will not end this war; we will win it.

Special Operations Speaks is not telling Congress to go to war – they need to make that decision based upon the will of the People – but we are guiding them on how to proceed, should they decide to take such measures.

If a war is what’s needed to defeat ISIS, let it be done powerfully and effectively – Congress cannot allow Obama to engage our troops in a weak, aimless war.
