I think a good read to remind you that what you swore to uphold as an elected official. Looking the other way is NOT an option. There are several things that have gone on in this country over the last decade that are seriously seriously wrong. Whether you are part of the problem or the cause of it, be reminded that before you, there were people fighting tyranny, oppression and the right to live free of religion, speech, the pursuit of happiness and above all, to create a document that is the ever lasting breath of this country in which it was formed and created. People's lives were lost. Families were torn apart, all for the ideal in which has gone to pot. The economy, heath care and other frivolous decisions have wasted the time and money of the American Tax payer. Congress, say no to Syria and defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We have enough problems here to deal with. If Britain has voted against it, there is a reason. Bad decisions will only lead to the Fall of Rome (the USA). Historically, it may happen but why does it have to look so bleak in our lifetime? All for what? Power? Greed? Need? We all die at some point, why do we have to be subjected to leaders and lawmakers that do not have our best interest in utmost importance?
