You can not stop these murders by restricting honest people from having guns! You stop these by having honest people there with guns!

It should be obvious that gun-free zones don't keep out mass murderers.

Also, if someone at the school had a gun and was trained to use it, lives could have been saved. Remember the school security female at a Colorado Christian School a few years back that shot and killed a gunman who was shooting in her school? I don't believe we should arm every teacher. I do believe there should be someone in every school that is armed and trained to defend our children and the teachers.

let me see... Would a "bank robber" choose a bank with armed security... or a small "home town" bank with none? Would a thief choose a car with valuables in clear view or one with none showing.. and maybe an alarm light flashing? Or would YOU "speed" when a cop is sitting along the road or thru a known "speed trap"? NO! Why then are "we" even talking about creating more inviting "gun safe" zones??? Just like lightning seeks the path of least resistance, so too the person driven to do wrong, will almost always seek the path of least resistance too! I simply cannot understand how people cannot see that!

Since schools are already "gun-free zones," which prevent teachers and staff from carrying, the idea of the "gun-free zone" is logically flawed and should be exposed as such by civic-minded people. Think, people!

You as responsible leaders of this country must repeal this Stupid "Gun Free School Zone" bill! you must also train & arm teachers so they can properly protect the kids from these nut jobs that want to kill period! As far as "Gun Control Laws" we don't need anymore. What we need is the enforcement of current laws on the books.

Concealed Carry needs to be a mandatory course for ALL faculty. It is asinine to make schools and other public places sitting ducks for people like Lanza. More guns, not no guns is the best way to curb - if not prevent senseless massacres like this! Guns don't kill people - PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE!! Why is that so hard for lawmakers to understand?

Get rid of gun free zones. Arm and teach the teachers and others working in schools to stop these mass killings.
