Gun-Free School Zones are an open invitation to everyone from ordinary criminals, to terrorists, to unbalanced individuals to wreak havoc on law-abiding individuals WHO ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW FROM EFFECTIVELY DEFENDING THEMSELVES AND THE INNOCENTS IN THEIR CHARGE. Now is the time to pass H.R. 2613, the "Citizens Protection Act". The tragedy of the massacre at Newtown, Connecticut, by an obviously deranged individual is being exploited by those who erroneously contend passing still more gun ownership restrictions will magically stop or decrease such crimes against humanity. It should be obvious to any rational observer and potential victim that the Gun-Free School Zones law did not discourage the alleged murderer, Adam Lanza, from taking the lives of 18 children and 10 adults. In fact that misguided legislation guaranteed Lanza he would face no serious opposition to his ruthless attacks. Wake up America!REPORT COMMENTS
