Americans are 99.9% against military intervention in Syria. The Syrian govt. is killing the people. Syrian rebels are killing the people and now Obama wants America to kill the Syrian people as well - what's wrong with this picture. Obama got elected on the political platform that America SHOULD NOT be a superpower and his policies since his election have been designed to strip America of its economic and military superpower stature. Now he wants America's superpower stature back and he can't have it. It is not possible to have one's cake and eat it. Either you play one side or the other you can't be on both sides of the street at the same time. Unfortunately, Obama fails to realize that America could be attacked and even destroyed because of HIS OWN policies if he goes ahead and declares a war he cannot win, again, because of his own anti-American policies.
