RIGHTMARCH: Tell Congress NO MORE EXTRAVAGANT OBAMA VACATIONS!

YES, I want to help DEMAND that Congress tell Obama to STOP wasting MILLIONS of dollars taking taxpayer-funded trips, when he won't even open the White House for school kids' tours!

YES, I want to help DEMAND that Congress tell Obama to STOP wasting MILLIONS of dollars taking taxpayer-funded trips, "when he won't even open the White House for tours by average Americans without jumping through months-long 'hoops'!

Over and over again, Barack Obama takes his family on extravagant vacations -- and calls them "official trips" so they can make TAXPAYERS foot the bill! We need to mobilize folks to take action right away to force Congress to DEMAND that the Obamas stop taking these taxpayer-funded trips, when they won't even open the White House for daily public tours like they used to, due to so-called "budget constraints"... So we've set up an easy way for you to make your voice heard LOUD AND CLEAR -- please sign your name below and send a free message to your U.S. Representative and Senators AT ONCE, urging that they DEMAND Obama refrain from any further taxpayer-funded vacations until the White House can be re-opened for regular daily public tours -- NOW!

Stop the excessive vacation spending for the President & his family. We can't afford it and they need to respect the people of the USA.

Everybody has to cut back except for him. I think he now realizes world leaders have no respect for him and he is losing support here fast. Might as well have a great time on our dime.

Why don't you all just go home and take an expensive vacation. Nothing is getting done anyhow.

I would also like to add a comment to his lavish spending. We people over 65 who are on Medicate are being treated as if we are not important. We are the generation that made America the greatest country in the world and now we must suffer so the King and his Royal Family can go on these lavish trips and we who have worked so hard all our lives and now get so little are very, very angry. Our Representatives are our only channel to be heard. Please listen to your constituents loud and clear. Stop HIM.

“Uncheckable presidential powers” permit “The President” to engage in foreign trips without review. However, common sense should limit his trips to performing the duties of the president, such as attending international summits & conferences, the signing of international agreements and the reinforcement of the US’s worldwide position regarding foreign affairs. It might also permit his acceptance of special acknowledgements from certain world renowned organization. But, presidential trips should not be used for his or his family’s personal edification. That’s what vacations are for (most US families have limited vacation time and are not reimbursed beyond their salaries for any vacation expenses.) The considerable expense of his trips should also be curtailed in light of The Nation’s current financial situation. If he wants to spend taxpayer monies, common sense should dictate the significance for American’s to see “Our White House” over his taking another family vacation.

Most people can't afford 1 vacation per year. This is ridiculous. Let them spend their own money and not ours.

There should be a law stating a given amount in the budget for first family "vacations". Beyond that amount they should pay out of their own pocket.

He needs to practice what he preaches....cut back. Not, do as I say; not as I do! He has the attitude that he's above it ALL & YOU are letting him get away with it time & time again! When is ENOUGH, ENOUGH?
