1) Low income persons are protected (effectively no tax on all purchases up to the poverty level for all) 2) Businesses would boom by making them all competitive on the world stage 3) Tax fraud and avoidance is eliminated. Finally, drug dealers and pimps and criminals will all pay taxes --- truly a FAIR tax system 4) Overall tax burden is immediately decreased by having everyone contribute, eliminating the huge expense of the IRS, eliminating tax fraud, eliminating the cost of compliance (accountants; billions of hours of time and stress wasted on filing taxes) 5) Later tax burden decreased as businesses boom and jobs are created.REPORT COMMENTS

A simple tax code can eventually shut down the need for IRS. Then put all those freed up workers into new jobs helping to rebuild our infrastructure. So the IRS workers still have jobs. Peoples lives have been totally destroyed including suecide for over a century and the only way to stop it is to jump ship.
